Integrity,
Leadership, and Dedication
Our
legislature must:
Ensure
rural schools are financially able to provide the quality teachers
and education our children need and deserve.
Fund
fully the Children's Health Insurance Program, using Tobacco Settlement
revenues for this and other health programs.
Eliminate
the business equipment tax for small businesses and help Montana
businesses and working people find affordable health care.
Enact
laws to protect our waters and clean air.
Protect
Montana citizens' access to all public lands (and rivers) for recreation,
hunting, and fishing, and prevent the sale of public lands for a
one-time financial gain.
Invest
more fully in our highway system, especially in the fast growing
counties.
Cap
the growth of property taxes to prevent homeowners from being forced
from their homes.
Protect
property owners from a misuse of eminent domain powers.
Government cannot solve all problems, but government by the people
and for the people can make a positive difference in the lives of
Montanans.

I
am relying on citizens like you for your votes, advice, and the financial
support of my campaign.
Thank you -- Scott Wheeler |
