I am running for the legislature because I want to serve the people of District Six and help deal with the issues facing Montana.
  I served for thirty years in the Army. As a long-time property owner and voter in the West Valley of Flathead County, I understand the challenges facing our community. With experience as a leader and educator in military and civilian life, I know how important it is to ensure that all Montana children receive a first-rate education, whether they live in town or the country.
  I am the operator of a small logging business and understand the problems of small businesses and the working people of our district.
  Property taxes, health care, the economy, water quality, and highway maintenance are major issues in District Six.
